We, the Khandelwal Group of Institutions, recognize with all humility the good work rendered in the field of academics by our revered teachers and gurus for the humanity. The legacy is to recognize such gurus which has been formalized over the last one decade in KCMT has become a symbol of respect for the entire teaching fraternity under the vision of the visionary founders of the institution. KCMT in its pristine endeavor acknowledges such embodiment of virtues who have untiringly circumspectly contributing in the field of academics and assisting in the national building.

In the present modern era, we feel proud- of, to remember the great work of our ancient gurus who were the epitome of absolute knowledge. Nevertheless, they had even given shelters to those at their lotus feet who themselves were the God incarnations of their times. To name few such great Gurus are: “Guru Vashistha”,” Guru Vya”, “Guru Dronacharaya” and “Guru Vidyasagar” , “Swami Vivekanand” . The list is endless and we prostrate to all of them for their blessings and benedictions.

KCMT under the aegis of Bareilly Scholars Society, each year recognizes the efforts of excellence made by the teachers and felicitate them by giving away awards for their contribution in the field of academics in the memories of our aforementioned immortal Gurus. This year also it shall be celebrated on teachers day i.e. on September 05, 2018 at 2.30 PM

Guru Vashishtha Puruskar

Guru Shri Vashistha was famous guru of Lord Rama. Lord Rama acquired many virtues and prodigies under his able command and guidance. It was Guru Vashistha who instilled brilliance in Lord Ram which made him worthy to the worship in the entire world even today.

Hence, this coveted award is meant for those leaders of academics whose contribution is significant and adjudged on the basis of merits achieved in the field of academic excellence. Such persons of excellence may be Vice Chancellors of any university, director of some prestigious institute or equivalent of this competence as well.

This felicitation is for the supreme contribution in the field of academics at the national and international level.

The award entitles certification of appreciation as accolades for the services in the academics

Guru Vyas Puruskar

Guru Ved Vyas authored the epic Maha Bharata. He is known for classifying the vedas into four segments. The Gurupurnima each year is celebrated as a tribute to him.

This award is conferred to the Principals of PG & UG colleges, at the university level or post graduate level for their outstanding contribution in the field of academics and education.

This award entitles certification of appreciation for the services to the education.

Guru Dronacharya Puruskar

Guru Dronacharya was the great guru of Pandavas and Kauravas. It was Arjun who learnt archery under his guidance and became world best archery man.

This award is conferred to the professors, senior teachers at the university level or post graduate level for their outstanding contribution in the field of academics and education.

This award entitles certification of appreciation for the services to the education.

Swami Vivekanand Puruskar

Swami Vivekananda, a true leader of spiritualism who oxymoronically advocated of materialistic worldly progress taught to the world the power of Dharma. He was the one who ignited the fire of enthusiasm in true sense to generate new consciousness amongst the youth of India. He taught to the world in “Dharma Conference” at Chicago the power of enlightened sole to transform the world through right education.

This award is conferred to the secondary school principals, for their outstanding contribution in the field of academics and education.

This award entitled certification of appreciation for the services to the education.

Vidhyasagar Puruskar

Guru Vidhya Sagar was the great guru of the modern teacher of this nation. His contribution to the education is immeasurable.

This award is meant for the teachers of school level (UP Board/ CBSE Board/ ICSE Board) etc. for their outstanding contribution in the field of academics and education.

This award entitles a cash reward with the certification of appreciation for the services to the education.

Nomination

The Vice Chancellors/ Directors/ Principals/ Teachers may send their nomination on mail at info.kcmt@gmail.com or can submit the same on our website portal www.kcmt.in as well.

Selection

A jury committee will review each application and determine the best person on the basis of merits.

Guidelines

• Any teacher can apply for an award in any category.
• A teacher can not apply for more than one category.
• The application has to be made on KCMT’s application form only.
• You must have to have the requisite teaching experience and qualifications with minimum five years of continuous teaching experience in any recognized educational institution.
• The judgment of the jury shall be final.

Documents Required

• Proof of Age,
• Copies of qualification degrees,
• Letter of your institute’s letterhead from your institute authorities/ principal with the following details :
  • Certificate that you are a permanent teacher in the institution,
  • Date of joining,
  • Classes and subjects taught by you,
  • Total number of students taught by you ( Approximately)
  • The letter must be signed and stamped by the authorized person.
