One of the unique features of Khandelwal College Of Management Science and Technology
is its placement record. Over the years, KCMT has developed a formidable network with
the corporate world. As a result, the quality of placements has been improving steadily.
Today, KCMT is able to attract the who-is-who of Indian business and industry for campus
recruitment. A good beginning has also been made with international placements.
The cell prepares and grooms students to face the Education field and its culture through personality
transformation lectures, mock interviews, role plays and use of audio video tapes to improve on their oral communications.
Placement facilitation at KCMT is a full-time, year-round activity carried out by a team of dedicated professionals.
The objective is to provide a continuum of services liaise with industry to understand the contemporary requirements,
co-ordinate with the academic section to ensure that the necessary skills are imparted to students, arrange industry
visits, invite business leaders and professionals to interact with students, and interface with alumni to identify
emerging opportunities. The culmination of these efforts is Placement Facilitation and Summer Internships.
News papers reading is an essential practice in the zero-hour every day.
This is followed by class presentations so that the students can apply their
concepts and comprehension while facing the board of employers. Psychological
labs are conducted in the line of pre-requisites to placement activities.
The objective of Placement Facilitation at KCMT is to provide opportunities to
students in line with their competencies and to assist organizations find the
best fit between their requirements and the value that the students of KCMT
can create in relation to the expectations. The effort is directed at arriving
at a Win-Win situation: organizations should get the best possible talent and
students should get the best possible opportunities.

Experiential Learning (EL) is a programme unique to KCMT.
It was born out of the need to expose the participants to the real-life
workings of an organization to supplement the basic understanding developed
through classroom learning. The pedagogy of the programme is predominantly
based on analysis of real-life case studies to emphasize the problems faced
by management professionals in the industry. The Experiential Learning program
acts as a further boost as it gives the participants an opportunity to be exposed to them.
The module is useful both for participants with and without prior work experience.
This exercise introduces freshers to an organizational environment and the industry
, on the whole. The experienced participants, on the other hand, get a chance to
reinvent themselves as they add a whole new dimension to their experience. They
can learn about the different functional areas, they had hitherto not worked upon
and enhance their understanding about the functioning of the organisation as an
integrated entity. Moreover, the programme is an easy way for the participants
to keep abreast with the fast-changing industry needs, ensuring a smooth transition into professional life.
The students also can assist the faculty in consultancy projects taken up
with these organizations. This helps in building relationships with companies ,
thus, laying a foundation for synergy between the local industry and the institute.
