Life at kcmt does not stop at academics. It is enriched by various cultural events organized by students round the year. These activities are coordinated by different clubs such as the Nature Club, Debating Club and Quiz Club.

The students also participate in different activities of the college through membership in various committees. The I.T. Committee, for example, almost entirely handles the running of the Computer Centre of the Institute. Similarly, the Placement Committee and the Hostel Committee aid the Institute in looking after the interests of the students. The hostel mess is also run by the students.

Sport is an inseparable part of life at KCMT. The students enthusiastically organize and participate in inter and intra college sports tournaments for cricket, football and tennis. Intra hostel chess, carrom, table tennis and badminton events are regularly organized. Excursion trips are also arranged by the students to places of tourist interest
