About the course

Masters of Computer Application can be considered to be one of the most prominent Master’s level courses these days. MCA is a software-oriented programme with some elements of hardware and a little management orientation. This course mainly deals with the development of computer applications for the purpose of updating of computer program languages.

MCA also aims at creating better tools for faster and advanced applications. Its a three year degree course (Two and half year study and half year internship). MCA is becoming fastly a popular field of study. Our MCA programme provides a launch pad for all our students to attain great heights in their professional career. Why This Course

There are a lot of openings for a candidate after he finishes his MCA. Opportunities exist from larger user organizations such as telecommunications firms to small setups like software houses and small consultancies. For the students with a good grounding in computer applications are having opportunities which are almost endless in the IT industry.

MCA graduates begin their career as junior programmers and grow at a very fast pace to become systems analysts and project leaders. Since the course is also designed towards the research side, some students pursue higher studies. Yet others seek entrepreneurial roles like consultation etc. Application areas include transaction processing (such as banking, stock exchange order processing) simulation, database management, e-commerce, design support and data communications, networking, embedded technologies, etc.

Eligibility:

Graduation from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and mathematics at 10+2 level or UPSEE rank holder with minimum 45% marks in graduation and admission through counseling.

Admission Process:

The institute is a participant in UPSEE. All the students who have appeared in the UPSEE examination are eligible to be considered for admission as per the university rules. There is a specific provision for taking the admission in NRI/Management Quota as per the university direction.

15% seats in Khandelwal College Of Management Science and Technology is filled under management quota shall be filled by the NRI candidates at institute level as per eligibility criteria. The vacant seats in management quota or vacant seats after counseling of SEE-UPTU: 2017 shall be filled strictly on the basis of merit of candidates in qualifying examination.
